Sauer S100 Pantera and S100 Fieldshoot rifles in 6.5 PRC
SHOT Show 2019 – Sauer's wildly popular S100 Pantera and S100 Fieldshoot bolt-action long-range shooting and hunting rifles are now available in the new, Hornady 6.5 PRC magnum cartridge
The Sauer S100 Pantera and Sauer S100 Fieldshoot rifles were first introduced in 2018 as long-range shooting and long-range hunting oriented variants of the already famous Sauer 100 bolt-action rifle design. New for 2019 at the NSSF SHOT Show in Las Vegas, the company showcased two variants of the Pantera and Fieldshoot designs chambered for the 6.5 PRC caliber, recently introduced by Hornady as a magnum variant of the already wildly popular 6.5 Creedmoor.
The Sauer S100 Pantera was conceived to be an efficient, elegant and yet highly ergonomic platform for longer range applications. A fluted and heavy barrel offers multiple shot consistency and the adjustable cheek comb and sculpted pistol grip provide an extremely natural shooting position for first round hits at the longest of ranges. The barrel surface and action sport a Cerakote finish for superior durability against elements.
Other features of the Sauer Pantera rifle include several mainstays of the S100 line – adjustable single-stage trigger, three-position safety, hammer-forged original Sauer barrel, famously smooth Sauer bolt. Available at an affordable price, the 6.5 PRC variant of the Sauer S100 Pantera rifle feeds through a 5-rounds magazine.
The Sauer S100 Fieldshoot is a high-accuracy rifle built for target, competition or varmint shooting, featuring a durable laminate wood stock with a dark oil finish that's not only captivatingly dynamic-looking but also features a robust synthetic adjustable cheekpiece and a recoil pad that's adjustable in height and angle to suit the needs of any shooter.
At the heart of the 24” Match barrel of the 6.5 PRC Sauer S100 Fieldshoot rifle is a 0.87" taper that ensures maximum accuracy, balance and the right weight for any type of precision shooting.
