The new Chiappa Firearms Big Badger line of break-open rifles and shotguns expands on the concept that made the small Chiappa Little Badger .22 rimfire rifle so popular ever since it was first introduced back in 2013. Listening to the demands of those who require a compact, packable rifle for outdoors and survival activities, yet packing more power than the small rimfire Little Badger, the new Chiappa Firearms Big Badger series single-shot, break-open models are chambered respectively in .350 Legend, .30-30 Winchester, and .410 gauge.
Extremely simple in terms of design, with a single-shot, break-open barrel, a wire metal stock with a rubber buttplate and adjustable cheek riser, and a M-LOK handguard with full-length top and bottom Picatinny rails, the new Big Badger rifles fold exactly in two for more convenient transportation or storage.
Offering redundant safety features in form of a hammer half-cock position and a cross-bolt manual safety, the Chiappa Firearms Big Badger rifles come without iron sights of any sort; the .410 gauge shotgun version, on the other hand, features a fixed fiber-optic front sight post along with a Mobilchoke MC-3 choke.
The Chiappa Firearms Big Badger series will hit the markets in June 2024; MSRP for the European markets has been set at €495,00 for the .350 Legend version; €474,00 for the .30-30 Winchester version; and €350,00 for the .410 gauge version.
