Savage Arms 110 Magpul Scout: the multipurpose bolt-action rifle
Whether it's hunting, sport shooting, survival, or law enforcement purposes, Savage Arms has got you covered: the new Model 110 Magpul Scout bolt-action rifle is available in 3 calibers, 2 colors and in right or left-handed configurations
New for 2024 comes Savage Arms's own interpretation of legendary colonel Jeff Cooper's "Scout rifle" concept: a magazine-fed bolt-action rifle with a mid-sized barrel, a long scope rail for standard or long-eye relief optics, and a sturdy set of iron sights.
The new Savage Arms 110 Magpul Scout bolt-action rifle is available in three calibers – .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .450 Bushmaster – and built around Savage's own, tried and true Model 110 action mated to a Magpul Hunter polymer stock with aluminum bedding, offering a multipurpose configuration for hunting, sport shooting, survival, and even Police patrol applications.
The black or flat dark earth Magpul stock – offering a sharp pistol grip, M-LOK handguard and fully adjustable both in length of pull and cheek rest height thanks to a set of spacers – makes the new Savage Arms 110 Magpul Scout rifle extremely ergonomic; to make it even more appealing to a broad plethora of users, it is available in right-handed and left-handed configurations.
The Savage Arms 110 Magpul Scout feeds through Magpul AICS (Accuracy International Chassis System)-compatible detachable polymer magazines, holding up to ten rounds in .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor and five rounds in .450 Bushmaster.
All the variants of the Savage Arms 110 Magpul Scout bolt-action rifle sport a 419 mm / 16.½" button rifle, matte-black carbon steel barrel with a prominent flash hider. Accompanying a full-length extended Scout-style MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail for optics is a sturdy integrated and removable rear peep sight.
The Savage Arms 110 Magpul Scout also comes with a hooded, elevation-adjustable front sight, utilizeing standard AR-15 style front sight posts for a better choice in style and visibility and easier replacement in the event of a loss or breakage.
Additionally, the Savage Arms 110 Magpul Scout rifle comes with a factory blueprinted action; a three-position top tang sliding safety; and a fully externally-adjustable AccuTrigger, offering a weight adjustment range of 680 grams / 1,8 kilograms (1.5-4 lbs).
Standing at 977,9 mm / 38.5" in overall length and weighing in at 3,81 kilograms (8.4 lbs) when empty, in all its variants, the new Savage Arms 110 Magpul Scout bolt-action rifle is available on the US market at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $1,099.00.
