The model 101 Silence GTI is J.P. Sauer & Sohn's latest bolt-action hunting rifle with integral sound suppression technology
Ever since its first introduction, the Sauer 101 GTI bolt-action hunting rifle – with its laminated wood thumbhole stock and height-adjustable comb – has been considered the flagship of the S101 product line in terms of ergonomics.
Now, with the Sauer 101 Silence GTI bolt-action rifle, the S101 design blends with the latest generation of titanium-made integrally silenced barrel technology, providing an overall package that is unparalleled in its price class.

The integral suppressor technology offers considerable advantages both in terms of aesthetics and handling comfort, as the weight of the suppressor is distributed over the entire lenght of the barrel for optimal overall balance. Black half-moons caused by over-barrel or screw-on silencers hindering the field of view when using red dot sights or magnified optics are now a thing of the past.

At the same time, not only the integral suppressor technology dampens the muzzle blast to safeguard the hearing of hunters and hunting dogs, but also reduces other stress factors such as muzzle flash, recoil, and muzzle climb, making shooting the Sauer 101 Silence GTI bolt-action rifle an even more enjoyable experience.
The titanium integral silencers used by Sauer provide an average noise siguature reduction of 28.5 dB, depending on the caliber.
The Sauer 101 Silence GTI has also been modified with two hex socket screws recessed into the buttstock replacing the cheek riser knurled knobs; the extra effort required to adjust the cheekpiece is more than balanced by the fact that now the rifle can be handled easily on the roughest hunting terrains without fear of accidentally loosening a knurled knob and having the riser fall down on our cheek. The required mini-universal key is conveniently integrated to the real sling swivel, keeping it always at hand.
The new Sauer 101 Silence GTI integrally-silenced bolt-action hunting rifle is available in .308 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, 8x57 IS and 8.5x55 Blaser, and with 42 or 47 cm suppressed barrels depending on the caliber. Standing at 113 cm in overall length and weighing in at 3,95 kilograms in its shortest configuration, the Sauer 101 Silence GTI will start delivering to J.P. Sauer & Sohn's distributors in selected Countries by mid-October 2022.
