The CZ 457 Target rifle features a cold-hammer forged heavy-profile Match grade barrel with a target crown and a diffuser for mounting target accessories on its 11 mm dovetail, and offers guaranteed accuracy of 12 mm at 50 meters within a ten-shot group (measured center-to-center), which meets the demands of top-level sport shooting competitions.

A brand new feature on the CZ 457 Target is the Flyweight trigger mechanism, allowing for very fine and detailed adjustment of individual parameters such as travel, break, overtravel, and blade positioning. The trigger system is backwards-compatible with other models in the CZ 457 series and has been further optimized by modifying the firing pin for even smoother operation.

Despite all the new features, at the heart of the rifle is still the proven CZ 457 action – well known for its smooth operation and high reliability. The CZ 457 also features a straight extended bolt handle for quick and smooth handling from all shooting positions.
