Rossi RP63 and RM66: the Magnum Brazilian revolver is back!
SHOT Show 2023 – The Rossi brand returns on the revolvers market with the launch of the 3” RP63 and 6” RM66 double-action revolver, all built in full stainless steel and feeding either .357 Magnum or .38 Special +P ammunition
The Rossi RP63 and Rossi RM66 .357 Magnum revolvers introduced at the 2023 edition of SHOT Show 2023 mark the return of the Rossi brand on the global market for revolvers. Amadeo Rossi S/A is part of the BrazTech International L/C company, owned by Forjas Taurus S/A since 2008 – itself controlled by CBC-MagTech since 2016.
The Rossi RP63 and Rossi RM66 revolvers are entirely manufactured out of satin-finished stainless steel, both feature a SA/DA trigger; a firing pin mounted directly to the hammer giving the gun maximum reliability with all types of primers; and a slip-proof ergonomic grip, of different shape for each model. Both the RP63 and RM66 are certified for both .357 Magnum and .38 Special +P ammunition, and feature removable, serrated front sights. Both models sport a 6-rounds cylinder.
The difference among the two variants is in the frame, barrel, and rear sight. The Rossi RP63 features a 3” barrel and a Small-sized frame with an integral, machined rear sight; the Rossi RM66 features a 6” barrel and a Medium-sized frame with a fully adjustable rear sight. MSRP on the US market is set at $460.99 for the Rossi RP63 and at $620.99 for the Rossi RM66.
