Chiappa Rhino airsoft and airgun revolver variants
SHOT Show 2020 – Chiappa Firearms introduces four airsoft and airgun replicas of the Rhino 50DS revolver, also available in Limited and Charging Rhino variants
Chiappa Firearms of Italy rocked the world of airsoft and airgun enthusiasts at the 2020 edition of the SHOT Show with the launch of an official line of CO2-operated replicas of the Rhino 5" revolver – faithful air-powered reproductions of the Rhino 50DS, Limited and Charging Rhino revolvers. Manufactured entirely out of metal, with faux wood synthetic grips, the Rhino 5” CO2 line airguns and Airsoft guns reproduce the look and feel of the original firearms, down to the factory markings and the smallest detail.
The Rhino is also arguably the most easily recognizable, aesthetically unique and yet functional revolver currently available: offering the lowest bore axis in current production-grade revolvers, the Rhino remains perfectly controllable even in its shorter-barrel and higher-caliber variants. At the same time, the hexagonal cylinder profile reduces overall thickness to a minimum, making the Rhino a perfect choice for low-printing concealed carry and extremely easy to draw and holster in competition or defensive situations.
The Rhino 5” CO2 line of replicas, available as 6mm BB Airsofts or .177-caliber airguns, offer realistic six-shots capacity and host a single 12g CO2 canister within the grip for propulsion. Keeping as faithful as possible to the originals, the Rhino 5” CO2 replicas come with a double-action trigger, manually cockable to single-action. A manual safety, standard for Airsoft replicas and airguns, is also provided.
All the replicas in the Chiappa Rhino 5" CO2 line come issued from factory with a fully adjustable rear sight and a fixed fiber-optic front post sight, as well as with a Picatinny rail for accessories under the bore axis. The Limited and Charging Rhino replicas can be told apart by the faux laminate grips with finger grooves and by the contrasting colors of smaller accents against the frame and barrel shroud.
The meticulous and thorough level of faithfulness to the original of these replicas makes them perfectly viable introductory and training tools for the next generation of shooting champions, and a must-have for all discerning airgun enthusiasts, Airsoft and MIL-SIM fanatics, and collectors – as well as excellent stand-in guns for movie and TV productions.
