Months after the Turkish-based Hatsan company showcased it at the many trade shows of the civilian gun industry this year – from SHOT Show to NASGW Expo, from IWA OutdoorClassics to Turkey's own Prohunt Istanbul – the new Hatsan Velox pre-charged pneumatic air pistol is finally in production and available on several commercial markets around the globe.
Crafted with precision and designed to exceed the expectations of shooters of all levels, the Hatsan Velox is available in three calibers – 4,5mm / .177, 5,5mm / .22 and 6,35mm / .25 – and offers extremely high levels of energy and muzzle velocity: up to 203 meters per second (670 fps) and 11,7 Joule (8.6 ft.lbs) for .177; 188 m/s (620 fps) and 17 Joule (12.6 ft.lbs) for .22; and 175 m/s (580 fps) and 20 Joule (15 ft.lbs) for .22.
The power level makes the Hatsan Velox a regulated airgun in some jurisdictions; in certain Countries, it will only be available to firearm license holders and buyers may be required to register it.

Manufactured largely in lightweight alloy and reinforced polymer, with the grip assembly and other parts available in black, OD green, shadow grey or Flat Dark Earth, Hatsan's new Velox air pistol features a 14 cm / 5.5" German steel barrel with a ½ UNF thread at the muzzle, and feeds through detachable rotary magazines holding up to fourteen .177 pellets, twelve .22 pellets or ten .25 caliber pellets.
A seat within the hollow, textured pistol grip hosts a spare magazine for easier accessibility and quick reloading. Sights include a removable, drift adjustable rear with green fiber optic inserts and a height-adjustable front post with a red fiber-optic insert. A MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail on top allows the use of optical sights.
Propulsion is provided by a 55 cc., 250 BAR air tank located under the barrel and filled through a Foster-type valve, featuring a built-in, high-visibility pressure meter on the left side. When filled to the optimal pressure level (125 BAR), the PCP tank will provide up to 22 shots in .177, 20 shots in .22 and 19 shots in .25.
