Glock announced three new pistols – a compact cross-over and two upgraded large-bore subcompacts – to be officially introduced at the 2024 SHOT Show in just a few weeks

Glock announced officially to the press the new products that will debut on the global markets in just a few weeks, at the 2024 edition of SHOT Show, to be held in Las Veghas in late January: a new compact cross-over pistol and Gen.5 upgrades to two well-known subcompacts which have long been some of the Austrian company's top-selling concealed carry alternatives in the United States.

The new compact crossover pistol is the Glock 49 MOS 9mm Luger, built around a Gen.5 Glock 19 railed frame – with a rugged Gen.4 RTF texture on the grip in lieu of the classic finger grooves – and a Glock 17 length slide and 114 mm / 4.49" barrel.

The Glock 49 MOS is built to offer the capacity and low printing of the tried and true Glock 19 with the superior ballistics of the longer barrel Glock 17. Other features of the new Glock 49 MOS include a set of front and rear slide serrations and a machined MOS Modular Optics Interface.

The 2024 SHOT Show will also see the debut of the new Glock 29 Gen.5 10mm Auto and Glock 30 Gen.5 .45 Auto sub-compact pistols: the Glock 29 and Glock 30 big-bore subcompacts, with their 10-rounds magazines, after years of success have been upgraded to the specifics of Glock's Fifth Generation pistols, with features such as the Gen.4 RTF grip texture, front and rear slide serrations, enhanced barrel rifling for improved accuracy, and an added ambidextrous slide stop lever for higher control and flexibility.

Finally, Glock announced the launch of three new Glock Performance Trigger drop-in sets for Gen.4 and Gen.5 pistols. A lighter, flat-face, trigger, the new Glock Performance Trigger must be installed by a Glock certified armorer, and starting in 2024 will be available for a slough of additional Gen.4 and Gen.5 Glock pistols, such as the .22 rimfire Glock 44, four .40 Smith & Wesson models (Glock 22, G23, G27 and G35), and three .357 SIG variants (Glock 31, G32 and G33).
