Diamondback Firearms SDR-A concealed carry revolver
SHOT Show 2026 – Diamondback Firearms showcases the new SDR-A revolver, chambered in .38 Special +P and built on an aluminum alloy frame
Diamondback Firearms expands the SDR line of self-defense, concealed-carry oriented revolvers with the launch of the SDR-A model, designed to bring the futuristic-looking, double-action only, shrouded hammer design to new heights of light weight with its forged 7075-T6 aluminum alloy frame, 2-inch steel barrel and Hogue black rubber grip.
Featuring a full DBGuard protective finish on all glass-bead blasted metal surfaces, and a "Ruger-type" push-button cylinder opening system, the new Diamondback SDR-A weighs in at just 15.6 ounces (442 grams) when empty, is barely 6.7 inch (17 cm) long overall, and holds six rounds of .38 Special ammunition. The SDR-A is fully certified to feed +P loads, and comes issued with a fixed orange fiber optic front sight and black dovetailed rear sight with green fiber optic inserts.
MSRP for the US market is set at $614.00.
