CZ Shadow 2 pistol wins the IPSC Open 2016 in Munich
The new CZ Shadow 2 pistol from CZ - Česká Zbrojovka has won the Gold medal in the Production Division at the 2016 IPSC Open held in Munich. The winner: Robin Šebo, CZ Team shooter
Munich Open, which was held on the 23rd and 24th April, was the second of a series of nine shoots promoted by the 2016 Continental League. The points obtained are then included in the overall competition, which comprises four shoots in Europe and five in Russia.
The Munich tournament proved to be very difficult; not only because of the strong competition and long and challenging shooting situations, but, in addition, the unusually cold and rainy weather also troubled the participants.
The members of the CZ Shooting Team coped well with all the difficulties in Munich, however, once again confirming that in shooting in accordance with the IPSC rules they are amongst the best in the world.
They clearly triumphed in the Production Division because Robin Šebo (CZE), Maria Gushchina (RUS) and Michal Štěpán (CZE) using this year’s new CZ SHADOW 2 won the gold, the silver and the bronze despite the unfavourable conditions and thereby took over the entire podium.
Josef Rakušan also contributed to the medal collection with his second-place position in the Standard Division, which he achieved using the CZ 75 TS ORANGE model, while Martin Kameníček won his third place in the Open Division with the CZ 75 TS CZECHMATE pistol.
