Officially introduced by Charter Arms on the US market on October 15, the brand new Charter Arms Double Dog revolver series offers the reliability and solid build that Charter Arms is known and appreciated for with a clever touch of versatility.

The new Double Dog revolvers are available in 5,5 cm / 2.2" or 10,6 cm / 4.2" barrel variants, with classic style or Professional Backpacker type wraparound walnut grips, and with either a stainless steel or passivate black finish.

Adaptability is the key feature of the Charter Arms Double Dog revolvers: all samples come with a 5-rounds .357 Magnum / .38 Special cylinder installed from factory, and issued with a replacement 5-rounds cylinder for 9mm Luger ammunition, easily installed by unfastening the yoke set screw and rolling out the cylinder with the cylinder release.

The 9mm Luger cylinder is the same as seen on the Charter Arms Pitbull revolver series; as such, it features a spring-tensioned ejector rod that holds the rimless 9mm Luger cases in the cylinder for easy loading and extraction without the use of moon clips.

All the Charter Arms Double Dog revolvers are double-action and come with a ported and diamond-cut barrel for lighter weight and better controllability; the 2.2" variants come with come with fixed sights, ensuring consistent accuracy, while the 4.2" variant features a rear adjustable sight for sport shooting.

MSRP for the Charter Arms Double Dog revolver series on the US market is set at $637.00 for the 2.2" barrel versions and $659.00 for the 4.2" barrel versions.
