Freshly introduced on the US market on June 10, the brand new Beretta 92GTS Centurion 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol is a "Crossover" version (built with a compact-sized slide and barrel installed on a full-sized frame) of the Beretta 92Xi GTS pistol that the Italian company debuted at the 2024 SHOT Show, in Las Vegas, back in January.

The new 92GTS Centurion is manufactured at the Beretta USA plant in Gallatin (Tennessee), and is built around a machined, black 7075-T6 solid aluminum alloy frame, with a straight Vertec type grip and an integral MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny accessory rail.

The barrel is 4.¼" (108 mm) long, and the slide is dimensioned to match it. Extended 4.8" (122 mm) barrels with a 1/2x28 thread at the muzzle for compensators or sound suppressors are available separately as an optional.

Machined out of black-finished stainless steel, the slide itself of the new Beretta 92GTS Centurion features a set of thin front and rear slide serrations, a dovetailed anti-glare rear sight, a red fiber-optic front sight, and a machined interface for micro red-dot sights. The 92GTS Centurion pistol is compatible with Beretta 92-series magazines holding 10, 15, or 18 rounds.

A major breakthrough in Beretta's technology, the Twin Sear trigger system is a key component of the new 92GTS Centurion pistol. Along with the skeletonized hammer and the DLC coating on all trigger component, the Twin Sear technology allows for flawlessly smooth transitions from action to safe mode while maintaining a smooth, responsive pull and high performance levels without a hitch.

The ambidextrous, frame-mounted Type G decocking lever ensures peace of mind when carrying the Beretta 92GTS Centurion with a round in chamber while keeping it ready for immediate use.

Standing at 197 mm (7.75") in overall length and weighing in at 770 grams (27.2 oz) when emptu, the new Beretta 92GTS Centurion is sold on the US market at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $899.00; no information concerning export availability and pricing has been released yet.
