Sightmark Volta solar reflex sight
SHOT Show 2020 – A true game changer in solar-powered reflex sights, the Sightmark Volta is the first on the market to allow the user to rely solely on battery or solar power - thus providing offering unlimited daytime use
First showcased at the SHOT Show, and described by the manufacturer as "the best of both worlds", the new Sightmark Volta solar reflex sight combines solar and battery power to provide a true dual power system and uninterrupted operation.
Powered by solar cells directly on top of the optic housing and two AAA batteries, the Sightmark Volta red dot sight provides the user with the choice of which power source works best for their situation. If the AAA batteries powering the Volta run out, the unit will automatically switch to solar power. In fact, the Volta can be run off pure solar power without any batteries at all – offering virtually infinite daylight use.
New on the Sightmark Volta is another feature described as "groundbreaking" by the manufacturer, and dubbed the Eclipse Light Management System (ELMS): automatically adjusting the brightness of the reticle based on the light of the surrounding environment, it relieves shooters from having to fumble with reticle brightness controls while on the go.
A popular 2-MOA red dot reticle with ½ MOA adjustments make the Sightmark Volta reflex sights ideal for a wide variety of shooting scenarios and distances. Featuring a covered design aluminum chassis for added protection, the Volta adds even more durability from a scratch-resistant and anti-reflective lens coating.
The Sightmark Volta red dot sight also features a single side access to both windage and elevation adjustments, adjustable mount height, unlimited eye relief, digital switch brightness controls, and a shockproof design providing a wide operating temperature (-22 to 122 °F / -30 to +50 °C). The Sightmark Volta reflex comes standard with rubber cover, both an absolute cowitness and low Picatinny mount, and Sightmark's well known Lifetime Warranty.
