Sightmark is known for its extensive catalog of riflescopes and observation optics, covering virtually every need commercial users may have—and by "commercial users," we mean both hunters and shooters, as well as some professional users such as local police (especially in the US) and private security or game control operators.

One example is the Presidio riflescope line, and more specifically the Sightmark Presidio 2.5-15x50 HDR2 SFP: a market alternative designed primarily for hunting, but with features suitable for various sporting applications on bolt-action or semi-automatic rifles.

The Presidio 2.5-15x50 features a MOA-based HDR2 reticle, with a 0.2 MOA red-illuminated center dot for low-light shooting and 5 and 10 MOA index marks on both axes, adjustable through 90 MOA of elevation and windage via ¼ MOA clicks, and parallax adjustment from ten yards to infinity.

The reticle is engraved in the second focal plane, meaning its size remains consistent regardless of the selected magnification level. This improves target visibility, accuracy—a second focal plane reticle is typically thinner—and the overall usability and durability of the optic. Optics with a second focal plane reticle generally require fewer components and are therefore more robust and easier to use.

The Sightmark Presidio 2.5-15x50 HDR2 SFP is built around a one-piece 30mm aluminum tube with a matte black finish, nitrogen-filled, and features a rheostat powered by a single CR2032 battery that offers a minimum of 80 to a maximum of 1,000 hours of continuous operation depending on the selected reticle illumination level (six in total). The eyepiece features a 6:1 zoom ratio with a quick-adjustment screw-in lever.
