teiner and Beretta are proud to announce an exclusive series celebrating 500 years of Beretta heritage: a limited edition of just 25 individually numbered binoculars worldwide, bringing together five centuries of Italian craftsmanship and uncompromising German precision.

Crafted by Steiner Optics in Bayreuth, Germany, the Steiner x Beretta 500 Years Limited Edition Binocular is a tribute to the art of seeing further: it celebrates a shared vision shaped by five centuries of experience, where heritage inspires innovation and precision becomes an expression of beauty.

This limited-edition pushes the boundaries of engineering artistry, bringing together radical imagination, heritage craftsmanship and cutting-edge precision.

At its heart is a monolithic body, precision-machined from a single billet of aluminum using 5-axis CNC technology, embodying an uncompromising manufacturing philosophy. Mirror-polished stainless-steel components add a distinctly high-end character, their brilliant surfaces creating a sophisticated contemporary contrast with the satin finish of the binocular body.

Steiner general manager Michael Rost says:

This edition is far more than just a pair of binoculars. It is a tribute to 500 years of Beretta, to entrepreneurial continuity, to uncompromising quality, and to the ambition to set standards across generations. For Steiner, as the optical specialist within the Beretta Holding, it is a particular honor to celebrate this anniversary with a strictly limited edition of just 25 pieces. Thanks to the combination of innovative technologies and state-of-the-art manufacturing methods, a truly exceptional masterpiece has been created – uniting optical precision, artisanal excellence, and refined mechanics in a housing milled from a single block of aluminum. The limitation to 25 pieces underscores its exclusivity, yet its true value lies in the attitude it embodies: it is an expression of shared values, technical passion, and the partnership between two brands whose design language finds a clear common signature in this edition – shaping the future out of a rich tradition.

Small yet meaningful details celebrate both the partnership between the two brands and Beretta’s special anniversary, symbolizing the meeting of two exceptional manufacturing traditions.

Running along its central axis, a signature line echoes the iconic top rib of Beretta side-by-side shotguns, while the sides reinterpret the distinctive enamel-filled line found on Beretta competition over-and-under shotguns.

While conceived as an exclusive collector’s piece, the Steiner x Beretta binocular draws on Steiner’s renowned optical expertise and advanced lens technology to deliver bright, high-contrast images with edge-to-edge sharpness, making it equally suited to wildlife observation and sporting pursuits.

Delivering exceptional image clarity, color fidelity and low-light performance, it features 15x magnification, a luminosity of 28.44 and a field of view of over 65 m at 1,000 m.

Daniele Piva, Beretta's Vice President Business Commercial Market, comments on this extraordinary project:

More than an optical instrument, the Steiner x Beretta 500 Years Limited Edition Binocular is a celebration of enduring craftsmanship, where the precision of Made in Germany meets the artistry of Origin in Italy. By bringing together Beretta’s and Steiner’s design capabilities, we have created a truly distinctive piece that demonstrates what Beretta Holding companies can achieve when complementary expertise is united by a shared pursuit of excellence. Its precision optical system and all-metal construction deliver outstanding performance in the field, while giving the binocular the character and distinction of a true collector’s piece. It is an expression of the engineering excellence and craftsmanship that have defined both brands for generations.

The binocular comes with an exclusive selection of bespoke accessories designed to further enhance its collectability and distinctive character: a dedicated aluminum tripod – supplied with adjustment accessories and engraved with the Beretta 500 Years monogram, providing an elegant, premium support for the binocular – and a removable full-body leather sleeve, complete with a matching carrying strap, handcrafted in a small workshop in Cologne and reproducing a historic map of Val Trompia, the valley in Northern Italy where Beretta was founded in the 16th century and continues to operate today.

Originally traced by Leonardo da Vinci during his visit to the local forges in 1508, the map creates a meaningful connection to the territory at the heart of Beretta’s heritage.

Completing the set is an individually handcrafted presentation case, finished in natural-tanned leather with a green Alcantara interior. Made in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy by the artisans of the Pietro Beretta Custom Atelier, the case recalls the sophistication of a traditional gun case, complete with dedicated accessories and discreetly concealed compartments.

An embossed Beretta 500 Years logo on the lid introduces an even more exclusive detail inside: an engraved, individually numbered metal plate bearing the signature of Franco Gussalli Beretta, President of Fabbrica d’Armi Pietro Beretta and representative of the 15th generation of the Beretta family.
