Leupold BX6 Range HD, an ambitious range-finding binocular
SHOT Show 2026 – Leupold launches the BX6 Range HD, a feature-packed rangefinding binocular with navigation and ballistic calculation capabilities
Brand new for 2026 – so new, indeed, it isn't even listed on the company website yet – Leupold introduces the BX6 Range HD binoculars: an ambitious project that goes much beyond the standard concept of glassing and rangefinding, and offers a full all-in-one solutions suite for hunters and long-range shooters.
Not only does the maximum effective range for the embedded laser rangefinder exceed 6,000 yards (5,48 km), but the BX6 Range HD also features an embedded Hornady 4DOF ballistic calculator app and a Precision Cut Archery software to help rifle and bow hunters to better dial in their perfect shot.
Additionally, Leupold's dedicated Control App allows Bluetooth connection to any iOS or Android device; the BX6 Range HD binoculars can then be used to pin maps on dedicated navigation tools such as – in strict alphabetical order – Apple Maps, ATAK, Deercast, Google Maps, HuntStand or OnX.
All is topped by a 10x42 optical system, high-definition optics, large and easy-to-use controls, and an ARCA-Swiss tripod interface. MSRP for the US market is set at $3,999.
