Franklin Armory Prevail, the Total Round Control rifle
SHOT Show 2026 – Franklin Armory introduces their first bolt-action rifle: the Prevail, based on a brand new action design and compatible with various barrel profiles
New for 2026, the Prevail is Franklin Armory's first bolt-action rifle for precision shooting and long-range hunting, and is based on a revolutionary TRC ("Total Round Control") action design – an innovative departure from standard controlled-feed and push-feed actions that fully controls each round during feeding, chambering, firing, extraction and cycle for maximum reliability.
The Total Round Control action is paired to either a fluted Magnum Sporter steel or one of Franklin Armory's own carbon-ceramic wrapped Fidelis barrels, and is compatible with Zermatt TL3/SR3 pre-fit barrels. Everything is paired to a carbon fiber stock with a solid V-block bedding.
Franklin Armory's Prevail rifle is available in .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC and .300 Winchester Short Magnum, all feeding through detachable AICS-compatible magazines. More information to come further down 2026 as the Prevail enters distribution.
