Browning X-Bolt 2 All Purpose bolt-action hunting rifle
SHOT Show 2025 – Browning introduces the X-Bolt 2 All Purpose, a practical yet elegant bolt-action hunting rifle built around an olive drab green synthetic stock
Making its debut at the 2025 edition of SHOT Show, the Browning X-Bolt 2 All Purpose bolt-action rifle is a solid and handy hunting and ranch rifle with the X-Bolt's performance-driven features rolled into a revised action with additional bolt guidance for smoother bolt operation.
Chambered in .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor and .243 Winchester, and featuring a 16.½" heavy sporter-contour barrel with a 5/8"-24 suppressor-ready threading at the muzzle, free-floated for consistent accuracy, the Browning X-Bolt 2 All Purpose rifle is built around an action that is bedded at the recoil lug and action screws; other features include a patent-pending adjustable DLX Trigger set to hunting weights, a sliding top tang safety, and an X-Lock Scope Mounting System using four screws per base for rock-solid attachment to the receiver.
The Browning X-Bolt 2 All Purpose rifle feeds through a new Plus Magazine system: an extended design, single-stack proprietary magazine that holds four, five or six rounds depending on the cartridge; other features include a fully fluted bolt and a Vari-Tech composite stock in OD Green that's adjustable for length of pull, comb height and grip angle for a personalized fit to the rifle.
MSRP is set at $1,179.99 for the US market.
