Uberti 1873 SA Cattleman “URSUS” 10mm Auto
Uberti presents the 1873 Single Action Cattleman "Ursus" revolver, in a new modern style variation equipped with a ported barrel and chambered for the 10 mm Auto
Along sixty years of Uberti history and the making of some of the best and more representative quality replicas of rifles and pistols of the Old West era, the Uberti 1873 Single Action Cattleman family of revolvers has grown to include an incredible number of different models and variations.
New for 2020, one of the last reiterations of the immortal Colt 1873 design is the quite modern looking Uberti 1873 Single Action Cattleman “Ursus”, chambered for the performant 10mm Auto cartridge.
Offering all the qualities of the base model, the new Uberti 1873 SA Cattleman “Ursus” comes with a 5½” ported barrel, with 24 compensating holes at side and right behind the muzzle, to help control the powerful 10mm Auto ammunition recoil, especially during fast shooting.
The cylinder holds 6 10mm Auto rounds and the revolver adopts the traditional Uberti Cattleman hammer, equipped with the latest Uberti “Improved” automatic safety system acting on the hammer firing pin.
Despite the modern characterization provided by the ammunition it is chambered for, the Uberti 1873 SA Cattleman “Ursus” maintains the traditional fixed rear and front sights typical of all the Uberti Cattleman models.
Barrel, cylinder, backstrap and trigger guard are blued, while the frame sports the usual beautiful case-hardened finish. The blued steel, “army” style grip frame encases an oiled walnut grip that completes the classical look of this “energetic” single action revolver.
Blending the traditional look and feel of one of the best revolver designs ever with the powerful character of the 10mm Auto cartridge, the new Uberti 1873 SA Cattleman “Ursus” brings all the qualities of the 1873 Single Action revolver into the world of modern sport shooting.
