Following the success of the limited edition knife for the 270th anniversary of its foundation, launched by J.P. Sauer & Sohn back in 2021, the Sauer team decided that, starting in 2023, the Company would introduce a new limited edition knife every year, developed in collaboration with different manufacturers.

The Scandinavia, Sauer's knife for 2023, is the first of what is hopefully going to become a long and well-established tradition for the future. Designed and hand-made by the H.Roselli company of Finland, the Sauer Scandinavia is a classic, elegant and functional Nordic-style knife for hunting, fishing and outdoor activities that collectors just can't miss.

The blade of the Sauer Scandinavia knife is manufactured out of extremely durable, 60 HRC carbon steel that will stay sharp for a very long time even when used intensely and can be sharpened very easily if required.

The Scandinavia knife featured a round curly birch wood grip, hand-finished in linseed oil to provide the knife with a pleasant and elegant feel and offer a reliable, slip-proof, positive grip even when wet.

The Scandinavia knife comes with a matching vegetable-tanned dark Finnish cowhide sheath, also manufactured by Roselli and adorned with Sauer's and H.Roselli's logos. A silver fitting on the end of the handle is engraved with the Sauer logo and the words "Limited edition".

The Sauer Scandinavia knife will be available starting August 15 in a limited run of 500 samples that can be purchased directly on the Sauer website at a retail price of 299.00€ plus shipping costs.
