For 35 years now, FERKINGHOFF has represented a special portfolio within the firearms industry.

 

Originally founded in the basement of his own home, founder Achim Ferkinghoff pursued clear objectives right from the start. Despite the initial concentration on local sports shooters, the focus was not only to be on the German market, but also on utilizing and further expanding the existing and stable contacts in other European countries.

 

Another important step in the company's history was to specialize in renowned manufacturers from the sporting and hunting firearms industry in the USA in order to offer these products to both German and European specialist retailers.

 

Since then, the company's development has been characterized by continuous growth and a successful strategic expansion of the brand portfolio. Today, FERKINGHOFF International is present as a supplier and importer throughout Europe with over 40 well-known and established US brands.

 

Researching new products and observing developments and changes in the target groups are integral parts of the company's philosophy. Andrea Ferkinghoff, management spokeswoman, therefore presented new co-operations with relevant manufacturers at this year's IWA Outdoor Classics. The company once again demonstrated how tradition can give rise to a modern self-image and entrepreneurial success.
