Barnes new ammunition products for 2018
SHOT Show 2018 – Barnes announced several new entries in its long-range, hunting and handgun ammunition lines
Barnes is one of the most famous, and vital, ammunition manufacturers in the United States – and one of the world's best known, with its products being appreciated and used by countless hunters, sport shooters, and professionals all around the globe.
New for 2018, Barnes announced a major upheaval of its line with the launch of a plethora of new products. This includes new entries in the Vor-TX line – now available in thirty-six different calibers, including the increasingly popular 6,5 Creedmoor – as well as in the Vor-TX Safari line for big-game hunting; also new is the Vor-TX Blackout line of .300 AAC Blackout loads, available in 110 grain and 120 grain variants.
Barnes' own long-range line of loads also get a massive upgrade; the Vor-TX LR Long-Range centerfire ammunition counts nine new entries, including two different 6,5 Creedmoor loads; two 6,5 Creedmoor alternatives and a .260 Remington entry are also added to the Precision Match line.
Last, but not least, Barnes' line of range shooting and personal defense load also include new entries. The Vor-TX Handgun line will now include .357 Magnum, .45 Long Colt, 10mm Auto, .41 Remington Magnum, .44 Magnum and .454 Casull; the professionally-oriented TAC-XPD loads were also on display at SHOT Show in .380 ACP, .357 Magnum, 9mm Luger +P, .40 Smith & Wesson and .45 ACP +P.
