Officially released in the first week of October, the new MDT JAE-G5 chassis system represents the fifth generation of the design launched by the California-based J.Allen Enterprises company back in November 2005, and evolved since then in a long list of commercially successful variants, well known and appreciated on the global market for their superb mélange of rock-solid construction, stability, accuracy, comfort, and distinctive and pleasurable aesthetics.

Manufactured by MDT in Canada, the new JAE-G5 chassis is built to enhance the performance and handling features of competion bolt-action precision rifles, with an eye on precision long-range hunting specialties and police or tactical applications, and is manufactured out of hard-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, with a full Cerakote finish and some polymer panels.

MDT's JAE-G5 chassis system also comes with an internal dampening system to eliminate vibrations, providing stability and a "dead" feeling during shooting; and is compatible with internal weights to be installed within the handguard. MDT is now offering a 2-pack of internal weights, designed to provide a perfect balance for competition shooting.
