The A400 Solo Synthetic is Beretta's new semi-automatic hunting shotgun, engineered to thrive in the toughest hunting environments and built like a true workhorse to be always ready when conditions get hard and the stakes get real.
The name "Solo" comes from Beretta's intention of making this new model the ultimate "crossover" hunting shotgun and the last you'll ever need, engineered as it is to be extremely versatile, capable to adapt to literally any type of hunting and to offer the necessary levels of versatility and rugged reliability to survive years and years of intense use on any hunting field in the most hostile environments.
Based on the reliable A400 platform and built around a matte black Cerakote-finished aircraft grade aluminum alloy receiver, the Beretta A400 Solo Synthetic semi-automatic shotgun is chambered to use any 12-gauge load up to 76 mm / 3" in length.
Featuring the B-Link Pro gas-operated system – Beretta's fastest, cleanest, and most reliable gas system to date – the A400 Solo Synthetic shotgun will cycle everything from light target loads to heavy magnums with ease, delivering softer recoil and consistent performance in the toughest conditions. The B-Link Pro gas system is known for running 36% faster and 46% cleaner than its most direct predecessors for an exceptionally smooth shooting experience.

The stock and forend of the new Beretta A400 Solo Synthetic are instead manufactured out of black polymer and have been redesigned to offer a more streamlined design, elengant and in line with the receiver as well as ergonomically exceptional thanks to the improved gripping textures on all contact surfaces.
Beretta's B-Steady stock system, separating the pistol grip and comb for a better cheek weld and superior stability, is adjustable for length-of-pull through a set of Beretta spacers and features the well-known Kick-Off Plus recoil absorption system, based on a set of internal synthetic buffer to dampen felt recoil down to 40%.
The A400 Solo Synthetic shotgun is available with the shooter's choice of a 66 cm / 26", 71 cm / 28" or 76 cm / 30" Steelium barrel, featuring a double progressive 80 mm forcing cone for consistently uniform, high‑quality patterns with all types of ammunition and compatible with Beretta's OptimaChoke HP choke system, manufactured out of high-strength steel for unrivaled resistance to every kind of ammunition.
Sights-wise, the Beretta A400 Solo Synthetic semi-automatic shotgun features a 7x7 rib with a front fiber-optic sight and a mid-bead; the receiver is drilled and tapped for optics.
Other features of the Beretta A400 Solo Synthetic hunting shotgun include a competition-grade elevator for quicker reloads; an upgraded trigger group, with a semi-flat trigger, a crisp and clean break, and a short reset; an oversized charging handle and bolt open release button; an oversized, reversible crossbolt safety button for left-handed or right-handed operation; and a Beretta B-Lok end cap at the magazine tube, easily removed with a sixty-degrees twist for cleaning and maintenance.
Standing at 122 cm / 48", 127 cm / 50" or 132 cm / 52" in overall weight and tipping the scales anywhere between 3,4 kilograms (7.49 lbs) and 4,4 kilograms (9,7 lbs) depending on the configuration and barrel length, the Beretta A400 Solo Synthetic semi-automatic shotgun is also available in a Realtree camo version for upland hunting.
