Sabatti ST-223 bolt-action precision shooting rifle
IWA OutdoorClassics 2025 – New from Sabatti, the ST-223 is a short-action variant of their STR Sport long-range rifle, now chambered for the soft-shooting .223 Remington
New for 2025 from Sabatti, the ST-223 .223 Remington bolt-action rifle made its official debut on the international markets at IWA OutdoorClassics in Nuremberg, Germany.
A precision shooting competition rifle, the ST-223 isn't "merely" a scaled-down variant of the Sabatti ST-18 chambered in .223 Remington – a caliber that had long been absent from Sabatti's offering – but a fully redesigned rifle, re-engineered around the small and snappy caliber, featuring a bespoke short action and a proprietary seven-rounds magazine for maximum reliability, controllability, and accuracy.

The Sabatti ST-223 rifle is built around a machined aluminum chassis that's compatible with the free-float handguards used by Sabatti's own ST-18 and STR Sport rifles; the factory stock folds to the right and is adjustable in height and length of pull, but can be removed and replaced with a standard AR-15 buffer tube and compatible stocks.
The pistol grip is likewise AR-15 compatible; a top Picatinny rail allows the use of optics, while the M-LOK handguard can be equipped with rail segments for accessories. The Sabatti ST-223 rifle comes from factory with a 61 cm / 24", 22 mm diameter, spiral-fluted barrel with a ½x28 thread at the muzzle.
