Chiappa Firearms 92 Field and 92 Core lever-action rifles
SHOT Show 2026 – Chiappa Firearms expands the 1892 line of lever-action hunting rifles with the launch of the 92 Core and 92 Wildlands Field models
New for 2026 from Chiappa Firearms are the Model 1892 Core and 1892 Wildlands Field lever-action rifles, expanding on the Italian company's already successful and well-established line of lever-action hunting carbines that cater to the needs of modern hunters without sacrificing their historical roots.
Both models are chambered in .44 Magnum, feeding from 8-rounds magazine tubes, and are fitted with a 16.5" barrel, threaded at the muzzle for compensators or sound suppressors; additionally, both feature a walnut stock and handguard – in both cases, with M-LOK slots for accessories on both sides.
Both rifles are built on a top-ejecting blued steel receiver and a single-action trigger, with an external hammer that can be manually positioned to half-cock to dub as a manual safety.

The Model 92 Core is the one that retains the most classic look and feel, with a straight oil-finished walnut stock, a slim lever, a fixed blade front sight and a classic buckhorn rear sight.
On the other hand, the 1892 Wildlands Field features a diamond-checkered grip and handguard, a large loop lever, a red fiber-optic front sight and a peep-hole rear sight mounted on a Picatinny rail for optics.
MSRP for the US market is set at $1,100.00 for the Chiappa Firearms 1892 Core rifle and at $1,255.00 for the 1892 Wildlands Field rifle.
