The Springfield Armory TRP line of semi-automatic pistols, the best known and celebrated family of 1911 variants in the Company's lineup, expands in 2024 with the launch of six new models packed with advanced features specifically designed and built for demanding 1911 enthusiasts.

Drawing inspiration from the Springfield Armory Professional 1911 utilized by the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team, TRP pistols undergo meticulous hand fitting for both form and function. The new versions include 5" variants and 4.¼" barrel "Carry Contour" models, all with VZ Hydra G10 grips, a skeletonized hammer for reduced weight and faster lock time, enhanced forward slide serrations, and a Gen.2 Speed Trigger for improved performance.

Additionally, the 5" models feature a two-piece extended magazine well, for faster and more intuitive reloads. The new models include black and coyote brown finish variants; all the new Springfield Armory TRP pistols come with ambidextrous controls, a Picatinny-railed frame for tactical accessories, and Tactical Rack 3-Dot tritium sights.
