Beretta 80X Cheetah Tactical FDE: the evolution of .380 ACP pistols
Beretta's 80X Cheetah pistol is now available in the Tactical FDE variant, featuring a threaded barrel, a Picatinny rail for accessories and an optics-ready slide

Officially announced in Italy and north America on September 15, the Beretta 80X Cheetah FDE .380 ACP semi-automatic pistol brings the Italian company's quintessential compact pistol platform to a whole new level of modernity and performance.
Well balanced, comfortable to shoot and extremely controllable, the new Beretta 80X Cheetah Tactical FDE provides a high volume of fire and ensures rapid fire accuracy in a well-trusted, reliable and familiar design.
The captivating layout and improved ergonomics of the Beretta 80X Cheetah pistol are now complemented by a ½-28 thread at the muzzle, a full bronze finish on the frame, a protective Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish on the machined steel slide, and a set of polymer FDE interchangeable grip panels and extended magazine floorplate.
The new Beretta 80X Cheetah Tactical FDE pistols feeds through detachable double-stack metal magazines, available in 10, 13 and 15-rounds variants – with the capability of hosting an additional round in chamber, of course. This is arguably one of the highest capacity levels available for a .380 ACP pistol of that size, on the global market as a whole.

Built on a lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum alloy frame with a Vertec-style grip, the Beretta 80X Compact FDE also offers better ergonomics than the vast majority of .380 ACP pistols out there, thanks to its overall compact profile, Combat-style trigger guard and extended beavertail.
Other improvements include a set of sawtooth-style front and rear slide serrations and improved grip front strap and backstrap serrations for a firm grip in all conditions.

The trigger of the Beretta 80X Cheetah Tactical FDE offers a light, crisp and constant pull in both single and double action, with a short and audible reset and adjustable take-up that can reduce the overall reset length to barely 1 mm.
All trigger group components have been hand-finished to guarantee a consistently fluid operation. Additionally, the 80X Cheetah features an ambidextrous frame-mounted manual safety, which also dubs as a decocker, and a reversible magazine release catch for right-handed and left-handed operation.

Standing at 19 centimeters (7.48") in overall length, and weighing in at 695 grams (24.½ oz) when empty, Beretta's new 80X Cheetah Tactical FDE semi-automatic pistol offers higher-than-average levels of performance and accuracy compared to other pistols in its segment, thanks in no small part to the 11 cm / 4.4" long barrel; the threaded muzzle allows the use of muzzle brakes, compensators, or sound suppressors for indoor and outdoor use, tactical and defensive purposes, and competition.
Additionally, the Beretta 80X Cheetah Tactical FDE pistol comes from factory with an easily removable, interchangeable front sight and a rear sight integrated to the black removable protective plate for the micro red dot sight interface machined into the slide.
The frame itself comes with a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny two-slot rail machined to the dust cover, allowing the use of all sorts of tactical accessories.
