Chiappa Firearms expands its product line with the launch of the .22 Long Rifle caliber FAS 6007 pistol, conceived for ISSF Standard and Automatic Pistol competitions
The New FAS 6007 .22 LR semiautomatic target pistol was developed in collaboration with Olympic shooters to significantly contribute to accuracy and handling during competitions. To optimize ergonomics, this pistol has many adjustable parts which can be precisely fit to the shooter for maximum balance, stability and control.
The front sight can be adjusted in two different positions, linear to the barrel. The rear sight is fully adjustable, with an adjustable window as well, allowing everyone to obtain a proper sight picture.
The 5 shots magazine is located centrally and inserted into the grip. Thanks to this magazine positioning, the FAS 6007 has superior handling characteristics and balance, allowing the longest barrel possible for excellent accuracy and velocity.
The trigger group is easy to remove and set. Its adjustable features include control over the trigger pre-run; setting of the trigger spring weight; trigger positioning.
The hammer group has an adjustable set device on its own, allowing the regulation of the hammer strike and weight, with regulation screws that can be reached and set from the external, with no need to disassemble the group itself.
A shock buffer absorbs the energy from the recoil of the action, ensuring a better control over vibration during the firing sequence. Last: the pistol barrel housing is equipped with side external rails, were dedicated modular weights can be mounted and positioned to grant maximum balance to the pistol.
