The Nitecore booth at the 2017 edition of the IWA OutdoorClassics was packed with brand new products – a sign of how the company is gearing up to expand its already well-established presence on both the civilian and professional markets for high-end illumination accessories.

Seriously: the new products were just too many to count here. We will thus focus only on four of them, which are due to hit the shelves worldwide very soon.

The smallest of all new flashlights from Nitecore this year is the LA10 CRI – a pocket camp lantern offering a 360-degrees, 80-lumen output with a maximum range of 10 metres, ideal for night walking, camping, and other utility features thanks to the thumb-sized aluminum body (78,5 mm / 3.09" long, weighing 42,7 g / 1.51 oz at the most) and to its Nichia 219B LED powered by a single, commercial AA battery offering up to 23 hours of maximum runtime.

The Nitecore LA10 CRI lantern can be attached to any metallic surface in any position thanks to a magnetized tailcap, which also features a loop for an issued lanyard that allows the LA10 CRI to be hung anywhere and be used as a lamp. The design of the LA10 CRI is patterned after that of a lipstick, and as a matter of fact the rotating tailcap not only switches the lamp on and off, while another ring allows the diffuser to be extended or retracted for storage.

The Nitecore LA10 CRI can be set on three different brightness levels, or used as a location beacon; it is impact resistant up to 1,5 metres and IPX6-compliant water resistant.

The most powerful Nitecore flashlights for this year, the TM28 is powered by four 18650 batteries and using four CREE XHP35 HI LEDs to project up to 6.000 lumens with an intensity of 107.200 cd at a 655-metres range, for a maximum runtime of 1.000 hours (at the lowest power setting).

The Nitecore TM28 flashlight is 142 mm (5.59") long and weighs 414 grams (14.6 oz). Based on CREE's SC5 technology, the embedded driver circuit ensures brightness increase by 50% while maintaining high intensity levels; the LEDs are mounted on top of a copper substrate obtained through thermo-electric separation technologies for long-term, stable performance and energy levels. Each LED is controlled by its own driver circuit.

The TM28 features an embedded OLED display, providing the user with a full-time status report on functions such as brightness and battery levels, battery voltage, remaining runtime and operating temperature. A multifunctional dual-stage switch provides easy access to all functions with a single hand.

The Nitecore SRT9 is the last arrived in the Smart Ring Tactical (SRT) series of NItecore tactical flashlights. Its features make it an interesting companion for many field purposes, in tactical, law enforcement and hunting applications.

By just twisting the flashlight smart ring of the Nitecore SRT9, the user can easily access all modes and functions.

The Nitecore SRT9 uses two 18650 batteries and provides progressive/variable brightness levels up to 2.150 lumens and offers additional outputs of red, green, blue and UV.

The sample seen at IWA 2017 was a very first sample and at moment of writing this news, Nitecore has not yet released any official data information concerning exact dimensions and weight of this flashlight. Yet, honestly speaking, the Nitecore SRT9 is one of the most interesting models we have seen at the booth.
