Pardini Guns USA: new products for 2017
SHOT Show 2017 - The Pardini Guns company introduced the K12 Absorber new air pistol, the GPR1 Light air rifle and the GPR16 high-power, competition-ready air rifle at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas
Pardini Armi, an Italian-based manufacturer well known for its competition-oriented firearms and airguns, introduced several new products at the 2017 SHOT Show in Las Vegas.
The GPR1 air rifle – recently used by Niccolò Campriani to win a gold medal in 10-metres shooting – is now available in a GPR1 Light version, which is about half a kilogram lighter than the baseline model.
The technical layout was not modified in any way, though, thus allowing shooters to take advantage of the largely appreciated technical solutions of the design.
The GPR1 Light will be available in the same four variants as the baseline GPR1: Top, Evo, Pro and Basic – the latter one being a "plain jane" model that comes without a peephole or tunnel sight as well as with no sight ramp or buttpiece.
Another new entry in the Pardini armi airguns line for 2017 is the GPR16 air rifle, conceived for Bench Rest and Field Target shooting: basically a GPR1 air rifle powered-up to offer up to 16 Joules of muzzle energy.
Apart from the higher muzzle energy – which also translates in a lower authonomy of the gas canister – the GPR16 doesn't differ technically from the baseline GPR1 rifle. Just like the GPR1, the Pardini GPR15 high-power air rifle is available in Top, Evo, Pro and Basic variants.
Pardini also evolved its highly regarded K12 air pistol in a new version... dubbed the "K12 New".
The Pardini K12 New air pistol comes with a removable lightweight alloy barrel shroud that can host up to eight 5-grams counterweights in its baseline variant and up to six counterweights in the "Junior" version.
The removable lightweight alloy of the Pardini K12 New air pistol weighs in at 45 grams itself in the baseline variant and 35 grams in the "Junior" variant, and is available in four new colors; with rechargeable air canisters available in five colors allow users to customize their gun on a palette of twenty different color variations. Nothing changes in terms of mechanical and technical features.
The final new product from Pardini for 2017, introduced by the Pardini USA LLC. north American branch, is the SP Bullseye pistol conceived for the omonymous shooting specialty.
The Pardini USA SP Bullseye is also the pistol that led famed shooter Keith Sanderson to win the national Bullseye shooting championship in 2016.
The new version of the SP Bullseye pistol – whose previous variant was launched four years ago – sports a 6-inch barrel, which is slightly longer than the previous 120 mm / 4.7" length.
Pardini's new SP Bullseye pistol is available in .22 Long Rifle, .32 ACP and .32 Smith & Wesson caliber, and can be converted to any of the three thanks to the company's own, factory-issued conversion kits. A dovetailed guide is machined on top of the pistol, allowing direct installation of optical sights.
