Rock Island Armory PK-12 Pak-Out folding shotguns
New for 2026, Rock Island Armory – an ARMSCOR brand – introduces the PK-12 "Pak-Out" line of 12-gauge pump-action folding shotguns for personal, home and property protection; while based on the well-known design by the Turkish company AXOR, itself a modern take on the Burgess folding shotgun design of the late 1890s, the PK-12 "Pak-Out" shotguns are entirely manufactured in the RIA-USA plant in the State of Utah.
The signature feature of the PK-12 "Pak-Out" series of shotguns is its folding design: the receiver is composed of two parts, hinged at the front, and can fold exactly in two for easier transportation or secure storage; the PK-12 "Pak-Out" can not be fired from the folded position, but can be brought to action in a split second with a simple movement.

Two versions are available: the "Long" version comes with a 18.5-inch barrel, a blade front sight, a black synthetic ergonomic pistol grip and a stock that's both side-folding and adjustable in length; the "Short" version comes instead with a 14.1-inch barrel, a bead front sight, and a horizontal black synthetic "Shockwave" grip that classifies it as a "firearm" and thus NFA-exempt. Both feature a rear notch sight machined on to the takedown lever, a top Picatinny rail for optics, and a 4-shots magazine tube (with the capability of holding a shell in chamber even when folded).
