New for 2026, Springfield Armory introduces the 1911 10-8 Performance Master Class series of 1911-pattern single-action semi-automatic pistols. Developed in partnership with Hilton Yam at 10-8 Performance, the new Springfield Armory 10-8 Performance Master Class pistols are outfitted with select components and offered in 9mm Luger and .45 ACP, feeding through 9-rounds or 8-rounds single-stack magazines respectively, to meet the demands of professional use.

Built around a black Cerakote-finished, forged carbon steel frame with integral Picatinny accessory rail and an extended beavertail grip safety, the 1911 10-8 Performance Master Class pistols are fitted with VZ Grips with a Hilton Yam signature inlay; a 5-inch forged stainless steel, Bull-profile, DLC-finished Match Grade barrel; a GI recoil spring guide rod with a 10-8 Performance reverse spring plug; and a solid slide also manufactured out of black Cerakote-finished, forged carbon steel.

Other features include a green fiber-optic front sight, U-notch rear sight, and the Agency Arms AOS optics system machined onto the slide, employing a series of plates to fit wide range of today’s most popular optics, including RMR, Shield, Delta Point Pro, and Docter footprints.

The Springfield Armory 1911 10-8 Performance Master Class pistols are distributed in the United States exclusively by Lipsey's, coming at a MSRP of $2,099.
