Davide Pedersoli, the Italian manufacturer renowned for their high-quality firearms, has officially announced the release of their new JACKAL44 pump action rifle. This modern-style rifle, chambered in the powerful .44 Remington Magnum caliber, was first showcased at the SHOT Show 2025 and is expected to be available by the end of the third quarter of this year, with pre-orders currently being accepted.
The JACKAL44 represents a contemporary take on the classic pump-action design, drawing inspiration from the Colt Lightning series but with significant modern enhancements. The rifle weight 7.7 lbs and boasts a robust and ergonomic select walnut stock and forend, designed to provide a secure and comfortable grip for the shooter. A microcell butt plate further aids in recoil absorption.
Accuracy is a key feature of the JACKAL44, which is equipped with a high-quality Pedersoli PMG (Premium Match Grade) 19" barrel. The barrel comes with fiber optic front and rear sights that are adjustable for both elevation and windage, ensuring precise aiming. For those wishing to mount optics, the rifle is also designed to accommodate a Picatinny rail, which can be attached to the receiver. The muzzle is threaded (5/8 x 24 UNF), allowing for the attachment of muzzle devices.

The receiver of the JACKAL44 sports a durable Cerakote finish, while the barrel, receiver, and hammer are polished and blued, providing a sleek and resilient firearm. The rifle has a magazine capacity of 6 rounds.
