Armytek Dobermann Pro XHP35 HI flashlight
The Armytek Dobermann pro HXP35 HI tactical flashlight is somewhat overlooked by the general public – and undeservedly so. Let’s see why!
Armytek Optoelectronics, Inc. was established in 2010 in Ontario, Canada, and currently operates filial branches in Germany, Finland, Poland and Russia. A name little known by the general public, Armytek focuses on the manufacture and distribution of cutting-edge flashlights and relevant accessories, fighting to earn a position in the currently very crowded market of tactical and professional illumination tools with state-of-the-art technology.
Currently, the Armytek product line includes many different models, a full set of rechargeable batteries and dedicated chargers and sixteen different accessories including remote operation switches, filters, mounts, and more. Moreover, Armytek products are notable for being extremely cost-effective, developed with military and law enforcement operators in mind and closely following professional feedback.
The Armytek Dobermann Pro XHP35 HI (White) flashlight is a prime example of why Armytek would deserve better fame and fortune among the general public and the professional community alike: this powerful white Led flashlight offers a maximum output of 1700 Lumens and a peak beam intensity of 39000 candela, for a maximum throw of 395 meters (431.97 yards)… at a very competitive price.
The Doberman Pro flashlight is built on a tube machined out of aircraft-grade aluminum, with a 25,4 mm / 1” diameter body and a 34 mm / 1.33” head, protected by a premium Type III 400HV black hard anodizing. 14 cm / 5.5” long overall, the Armytek Doberman Pro XHP35 HI flashlight weighs barely 115 grams (1.05 oz) without batteries, and features a stainless steel crenelated “combat”-style bezel with ultra-hard titanium coating that makes it viable as a self-defense blunt instrument or as an emergency glass-breaker.
A single high-intensity Cree XHP35 Led is located at the center of a smooth-walled reflectors modeled and calculated with the help of specialized computer software usually used for the design of optical systems, offering a flawless and long-range light beam with a 5° hot spot and a 40° spill for great peripheral illumination without sacrificing focus. A sturdy impact-resistant lens with a sapphire and anti-reflection coating protects the Led and reflector; the lens is manufactured out of tempered optical glass with a 98-99% transparency rate – a type of glass normally used only in photo/video equipment
Armytek employs a completely new, second-generation driver called the S-Tek on all its flashlights – Doberman Pro included – which enables them to emit bright and constant light without flickering or loss of power even when the battery is almost completely out and even in extreme conditions, down to a minimum of -25°C / -13°F.
Armytek’s S-Tek is the only driver in the world that enables the user to choose the type of stabilization. All electronics are embedded in an aluminum capsule for increased protection. The Armytek Doberman Pro flashlight is operated through a single tactical rubberized tail switch and provides quick access to nine different output modes, with a memory system that saves the last used mode.
A single rechargeable Armytek 18650 Li-Ion battery, fully charged, will provide from a minimum of two hours up to a maximum of 200 days of continuous runtime, depending from the selected output mode; oddly enough, the Doberman Pro does not offer strobe or signal function.
The Armytek Doberman Pro comes issued with a set of replacement O-rings and a replacement rubber tailcap; a nylon belt holster; a laynard; and a removable belt clip.
Aftermarket accessories include the Armytek AWM-03 magnetic weapon mount and ARS-01 remote switch, allowing the Doberman Pro to be used as a gunlight; also available is the Armytek Handy C1 Pro battery charger, supporting the issued 18650 and many other types of battery and usable as a power bank.
