Mauser M12 MAX bolt-action rifle
SHOT Show 2016 - The new bolt-action rifle Mauser M12 MAX with thumbhole stock offers perfect ergonomics and promise intuitive accuracy. With the term MAX standing for MAXimum success thanks to MAXimum control and precision
Since its presentation few years ago, the Mauser M12 rifle platform has proved to be reliable and very much appreciated by the users, shooters and hunters. The new thumbhole stock for the new bolt-action rifle Mauser M12 is made of a top quality and robust laminated wood, designed to resemble a more traditional walnut appearance. But to think of it as of a cheaper solution, would be a mistake. It is intended to grant optimal strength and performances, shot after shot.
The profile and shapes are those traditional ones of the Mauser rifles, in a mix combining modern style and classic elegance. The streamlined contours feature fine checkering, giving this a harmonious overall appearance to this high-grade hunting rifle.
The pistol grip ensures a relaxed grip which makes for a quick and accurate shot. The innovative new Mauser cheekpiece promotes a relaxed head posture when shooting, especially with a scope. The pistol grip and cheekpiece allow relaxed shooting for both right and left-handed shooters. Another highlight of the pistol grip is its ergonomic versatility, which provides an ideal grip and controlled trigger pull for large and small hands alike. The large thumbhole enables the shooter to reach around the pistol grip quickly, thus facilitating rapid follow-up shots.
The M12 MAX is available in all M12 calibres, barrel contours and lengths (http://www.mauser.com/en/products/m12/). Special options such as a threaded muzzle, bipod adapter or jewelled bolt are also available. The rifle will be available in April 2016, with a MSRP starting at € 1,895.00.
