Browning X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Fiber Fusion limited edition rifle
SHOT Show 2020 – The Browning X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Fiber Fusion bolt-action rifle, a limited edition for 2020, offers light weight, high strength and performance in ten popular hunting calibers
The Browning X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Fiber Fusion bolt-action rifle, introduced at the 2020 edition of the SHOT Show in Las Vegas, is a limited availability edition version of the popular Browning X-Bolt series, bringing the well-known rifle to a whole new level of style and functionality.
Built around a high strength steel receiver, and a sporter-contour skip-fluted barrel with removable muzzle brake on a threaded muzzle, the Browning X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Fiber Fusion bolt-action rifle sports a Hard Core Fiber Fusion fiberglass stock in A-TACS AU Camo finish – virtually indestructible. A detachable single-stack magazine holds three rounds in any of the ten available calibers: 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Winchester, 6.5 PRC, .270 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, .300 Winchester Short Magnum, 7mm Remington Magnum, 28 Nosler, .300 Winchester Magnum and .300 Remington Ultra Magnum.
Depending from the caliber, the rifle comes with a short or long action – all with an extended, ergonomic bolt handle – and with a 56 cm / 22", a 58 cm / 23" or a 66 cm / 26" barrel. All metal surfaces on the Browning X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Fiber Force limited edition rifle, with the exception of the aluminum trigger guard, are protected by a full burnt bronze Cerakote finish. The rifle comes without any iron sight of sorts, but the receiver is drilled and tapped for optics.
Other features of the Browning X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Fiber Force rifle include a factory-issued thread protector for the muzzle; a polished chamber; a golden Buckmark engraving on the trigger guard; textured grip panels for a firmer hold in most conditions; an Inflex recoil pad; and a top-tang manual safety. The overall weight of the rifle ranges from a minimum of 6 lbs, 5 0z (approx. 2,8 kg) to a maximum of 7 lbs (approx. 3,1 kg) depending on variant, caliber, and barrel length.
